FROM DOGZONE

Just a quick newsletter to wish you all a Happy New Year, and hoping you all had a wonderful Christmas.

Thank you also for sticking with me after all the trials and tribulations of which that have been thrown at us last year.

This year we are going to start selling some new products!

Do you wish for your dog to stay smelling fresh in between salon visits? Then we have a solution! We are now selling little bottles of Groomers sprays for just £3! Keep your bottle and we will give you a refill for £2!!

For those owners with knotty doggies, we suggest that you buy a comb or slicker brush at just £5! This will help keep your dog looking nicer for longer! J If  you need help or advice with brushing your dog feel free to ask and we can show you how.

In this muddy season we get a lot of calls up for us to bath mischievous mutts of who have found the muddiest of puddles imaginable! But now we are using a new range of products made by Pet Head that have proven to us to work!! We are now selling a range of PET HEAD shampoo’s for just £9.99! They have puppy and sensitive skin shampoos in their range too, In fact they have a shampoo for just about every type of coat!

Also we have Pet Head gift packs available.

This year we are also hoping to get our website more up to date and are hoping to sort out our gallery, if you would like your dog to star in the gallery during his/her pampering session then please let us know at ‘dogzone2010@yahoo.com’.

As some of you may be aware, our beloved Beagle, Dinky, passed away just before Christmas, he is greatly missed! But we would like to say a HUGE thank you to those of who have been affected by missed appointments due to trips to the vets, and those that have supported us.

This year we will be starting a bit later as we are only getting stuck in the rush hour traffic sorry for any inconvenience.

As dog and cat groomers we have noticed a rise in fleas, we advise that owners do not use frontline anymore as it seems that the fleas are getting immune to it. However, please see your local vet if you notice them on your animal, they will advise you on the best one to use for your pet. There is just a high a risk of animals getting fleas in the winter, as there is in the summer, so please de-flea your pets once a month, as advised by your local vet.

If you live near Romsey, Wellow, Lockerley or Tytherley and need your dog groomed, we are now partaking in a ‘Pamper Your Pooch with a Pint’ at the Star Inn at Tytherly. We will be at the pub the FIRST Saturday of the month (starting from February 2012 excluding the Easter bank holiday weekend, it will be the one after!) so owners can go and enjoy a nice meal or drink in The Star Inn, whilst their dog gets pampered! If you would like to come along or know someone who would like to check it out then please contact me at: 07885519171. Or pop into the Star and ask!!
